This is a look at a fascinating subject, an extremely influential family who have had a big impact on 20th Century English history. I think it is ready for Peer Review.

Hi Paul,

nice entry, I don't see any problems with it going into the Edited Guide. smiley - ok

One small point, though, you should re-phrase "and I would heartily recommend ‘Lantern Slides’, ..." in the third paragraph, as first-person references are frowned upon in the EG. Could be something like "'Lantern Slides', ... are heartily recommended."

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho

Another excellent entry Paul smiley - ok It comes close in some parts to being an opinion piece I think, in that it lavishes much praise on the Bonham-Carters, but not to such an extent that it needs a re-write to get it into the EG, and the final paragraph pulls the entry back into focus.

I wonder how many people around the world (around the UK even) would be familiar with the notion of 'Hampstead intellectualism' though...

Well done smiley - ok

Presumably a bit stalled, given the author's continued absence.

Worth a move to FM though, I think.
