I'll be there!
Got lucky and somehow my order sneaked through. Didn't even know until I saw it appear on my bank statement (online banking) as I never even got a confirmation email!

Did you spend hours online/phoning too?
If you'd like to meet up at Glastonbury with fellow researchers, why not drop us a mail at [email protected] and we can exchange mobile numbers, etc.
I'm just going to update the meet page with confirmed attendees so far.

No. I sepnt about an hour and a half trying to get tickets online. It was me and a friend trying to get tickets for the two of us. After 90 minutes of trying he checked his email and realised that he'd succeeded. So we stopped.
It was only a few days later that I checked my bank account and realised that I had succeeded as well. So we ended up with 2 tickets each (with our names). But because the names will be on the tickets and the new security everyone is on about, I don't think we can flog them to anyone. So we'll probably notify Aloud and try to get a full refund.
Does anyone know how this new security is gonna work?
I hate to turn the tickets back in. . .

Lucky old you is what I say!
As far as I can tell (& that's not very far), Aloud are supposed to be sending you a second e-mail when the tickets go out, which I think is sometime in mid May. Around this time they are also supposed to contact you to tell you what kind if ID you will be required to bring with you. I've not been able to find any more info other than that.
If you can't change the names on the 2nd set of tickets I would think that they will have to give you a refund though. I found that the system was completely overrun & I wouldn't be surprised if this has happened to people too. I didn't know I'd got mine till they sent the mail, and that was after I must have applied using the same form a further 20+ times.
I'd contact them as soon as you can though. Which reminds me, I need to get to them too to update my friends address, silly has moved!

Woohhoooo!!!:D:D:D I see I'm already on the attending list but I just wanted to point it out again for the smugness of having tickets!!!:D Can't wait - checklist at the ready, toilet paper and deo wipes here I come!:D
2/3, I had a similar sort of experience that I tried for hours non stop and it didn't even tell me I got my tickets on the site but luckily I thought to check my email, despite my fury and frustration lol! Didn't get too many tickets though as I stopped in time, wow! I believe there is a certain date up to which you can hand back the tickets, some time in May I think - Iäm sure I read it at www.efestivals.co.uk though I couldn't quite tell you where!:S I know two people who spent all night up with no success and would do everything to be able to buy them off you though if there's a way of changing the details!!!
Best of luck! See you all in the sunshine! *cough* mud!:D
Love, Jen! - looking forward to seeing the old guy who can play Bohemian Rhapsody with his ponytail again!:D xXx

ASS!!! Get yourself to the Xfiles chat!!!:P
PS. I doubt they'll be as strict as they say on proof - we can hardly bring valuable items such as passports or driving licences etc to glastonbury and leaving them locked upt o be picked up again afterward would cause some chaos! There's people on ebay saying they'll supply the buyers with the right proof of identity! Good luck to them LOL! There's also a 1pound (damn german keyboards LOL!) lottery going for two tickets that may be worth it for anynoe who was unlucky on the night of the 1st April! xXx

Got my existing camping list out, must remember to add bog roll to the top of that one in very large letters! - and maybe a big spade (from what I hear digging your own is preferable to waiting in a very long que for the porter loos.

A rare, VERY rare! (and late!!) reply from me!:D
Am coming with my friend (the spade! - great idea!:D) Catherine, AKA Squid, who actually lent HHGTTG to me last year and so is the reason why this place makes much more sense to me now and also why I can't listen to Blowin In The Wind anymore!:P:D
I've also heard wellies are useful in Somerset's 'summertime'!:D Hehe that was the year!:D
Got your answerphone message today ASS - from donkey-yonkies ago, I know!!!:$ forgot to listen to it on the train but much enjoyed it in school today!:D Am so glad the weekend worked out so well, big thanks again to you all, and see you at Hay and ...

Oi!
Its a week til Glasto.
Whats the plan for meeting up??
I'm getting excited now as I've been doing music research (i.e. downloading music so I can figure out which bands are worth making an effort to see). And tomorrow I'm going to see RHCP (with James Brown apparently) in London!
Bring on the festival spirit!!

A Very good point, what is the plan?
...as I've never been to Glasto before, I don't really have any idea, nor know what to expect really! I just know I'm EXCITED!
I do however pretty much know who I want to go see, especially looking forward to the Friday line up, roll on Goldfrapp, PJ Harvey & The Chemical Brothers! Oooh Groove Armada... there are loads clashing with those ones too !
How about you 2/3?

Well, glsatonbury is definitely something to get excited about.
Glastonbury is the first and only festival I've ever been to so I don't know if its similar to any other festival. For me it was a fantastic experience last year. It actually felt like being in another world for 4 days. I didn't even know what news was happening outside.
And inside was fantastic, lots to see and do.
I'm praying for good weather.

Well I plan not to know what's happening in the outside ...right after the final whistle on Thursday! Sorry it has to be done! Come on England!
Not got very far with the meeting up plans have we, got any ideas how to make it work? I know my lot are all headed down on Thursday, but will be getting there between 9 & ... - sometime before kick-off. Other than that we plan to all camp together in the family field - somehow, and after that I know nothing!
I suggest you contact us via '[email protected]' and exchange contact details if you still want to meet up.

Well . . .
I'm kinda hoping that there's a screen up somewhere to show the match. If there is, then that's where I'll be found!
I'll be there from early on Thursday . . .

I'm told there will be a big screen up for the match, so I'll be about there somewhere too, not that I'll be easy to spot; I'll be just another of the hoards.
Hope you have a top festival & that the rain doesn't keep on for the whole time!
