A Conversation for A Tiger by the Tail Tale
Tiger testing

I like allegories and I like "pops at governments", and I like this story. I think it could be even more effective if it was shorter, more like an Aesop fable, where we read just "the tyrant did X", " the rescuers did Y".
I started to think of Iraq and Afghanistan - was that your intention?

It was about the 'liberation' of Iraq. The whole thing seemed completely hair-brained to me. The idea that Blair could drag us in to such a thing, based on his 'faith', seems extraordinary. And he's still saying it was worth it, which just shows how much he thinks our soldiers lives are worth - or how completely he's managed to delude himself. I don't think it casts our 'democracy' in a very favourable light.
