Marijuana Myth

I once heard a very wise statemant about the myth that smoking marijuana leads to the use of harder drugs. This is false of course, it is the fact that it is illegal, so the user must go to an underground source to purchase the drug. It is there that the user comes into contact with the harder drugs, from an underground caracter who may be into all sorts of "things".To the younger crowd who smokes pot and may be influenced by those around him this is where the danger is. It is the fact that we are driving our teens into the arms of "pushers" by forcing them into the black market! I was lucky and smart enough to avoid the worse of the underground, but it was there that I came into contact with the chemical drugs of my youth. Being illegal, pot did lead to the harder drugs. Only because society was blind to the truth that laws drive our good children to be law breakers! Perhaps here in Canada, Parliment will listen to their appointed elders ( senate ) and legalize it!

There is a myths section and the gateway theory is there but it is offline at the moment, until I get the potential dangers sections put together and then put them in together Hope this helps, and thank you for stopping by, if you think of anything else then yell Until later....

Well, pot might lead to harder drugs, but it might not. Also, would hash oil be considered a "hard" drug?
