This could be useful when I update my page, I'm not sure whether I'll use much of it though.

Is all this GuideML or does it require HTML coding, I get a bit confused, I nearly wiped an entire entry mixing HTML codes into a GuideML piece.

I think its all GuideML. I'll probably ask the authors, or just try it all out in a sample page.

The ever-useful "preview" button could come in handy theresmiley - smiley

Hi Joanna,

Thanks for putting that link under the form on your page (even if it's really small). I've made a Guide Entry with the corrected code in it, and I'd be obliged if you'd put a link in. It's at:

Thanks,

I was going to ask you if you'd make it into a guide entry this afternoon, or whether you wanted a link to your journal.
Now I don't have to!
Links are being updated left, right and centre.

You should be able to mix HTML into a GuideML page without any problems so long as you follow the basic GuideML syntax rules & close ALL tags & enclose all attributes in quotes (eg color="red")

The page needs to be defined as GuideML for the mix to work.

It was putting in tags around my piece that did it, thankfully I previewed, checked my previous entries and copied what I did there, using tags instead.

It was a while since I'd used GuideML and I'd learnt HTML in the meantime. I just got a little ahead of myself.

When you use the tag you'll always have problems in GuideML because it isn't closed.
The simple way to use BR in GuideML is to code it as - that way its opened & closed in the same statement.

hope it helps.
