What else did Cam tell you about Earth?

Nothing much...tell me about it, I am fascinated. And then maybe I can show you my world

Well... where should I start?

Are there things like nations in your world?

Nations? We have villages...

Well, these are sort of like that, but bigger, with a king, or an elected government. There are a lot of villages in a nation- even cities. And they function as a unit, for the most part, and wage war or diplomacy, sometimes both at the same time, against other nations for resources.

Yes, we have that.. we have a royal family with many different villages and towns under them

All right! And there's several of them, in different places, correct?

Well, of course

*Grins, seeing something that looks familiar.*

I kind of assume the royal family title is something passed down through inheritance, right? Well, in my world, there are systems of government where the leaders came to power through the vote of the people- the ruled chose the rulers.

They vote people into power in the rebel mortal villages, but in the demon world the royal family line rules

Well, now imagine those voted into power in the village being like the royal family, in that they have other towns and cities to rule- only if the ruler isn't doing a good job, the other towns and cities can put a new ruler in his place.

Intriguing....

Yes- it's a difficult job!

So do you not have royalty? Do the mortals live freely in your world?

Well, yes!

We have mortal royalty, and in some dark places in the world, mortals take other mortals as slaves... *Looks sad over this.* But most places, all men and women are free.

*looks shocked*

I was exiled and hunted for even suggesting the things you tell me are true

I'm not lying, lightning strike me here if I am!

I don't know what I'd do if someone tried to take me as a slave. One of us probably wouldn't live through it.

In my world mortals are slaves or rebels who are hunted without mercy

*Jaw drops.*

You mean, no one is free?

The demons are free....some slaves have bought their freedom, and the rebels are free in a way
