So we've got Johnson (34) and Torpey (34) up front, Beagrie (40) on the left wing, Ian Baraclough (35) down the middle and Paul Musselwhite (36) in goal.
Old Lawsy isn't planning for much in the future, is he? Worrying...

Steve Ogrizavitch was still playing in the Prem at 40, so plenty of time between the sticks.
And you're not lacking experience up front, with 4 of them, they only have to play half a season each.

and you don't have 60 matches to play either. still, it would be much more fitting to have an average age closer to 20 than 40...

ACtually, 46 league games- add a good run in the LDV vans trophy and half decent in the League and FA Cups- maybe a replay or two in the FA Cup, and they could easily play sixty games

A good old 'un can do the business in League One. Just look at Dean Windass - 28 goals for my Bradford boys last term, in a season that contained his 36th birthday.

You're dead right about Teddy. He showed one of the classic signs of encroaching age and infirmity...
He kept falling over!
