Techinically Lawsy isn't the longest serving manager- he was only appointed last season after that short flirtation with the dole queue, remember? Didn't Paul Groves take charge for a fortnight?

Well, we don't really count that, because it was caused by boardroom wrangling, rather than managerial incompetence.
It was Russ Wilcox, our Assistant Manager, and long-long-long-term Scunny player, who took over.

Seriously, it's one of those Black Hole towns that just keeps dragging people back. God knows why. I was lucky to escape while I had the chance.
