Fantastic Achievement Everton!

Actually what I meant was that if you lose to Arsenal you really are going to struggle in the Champions League - we just can't get to grips with that competition so how on earth are you going to fare? I wasn't singing the praises of my team because I have seen them play SO much better than that.
God played brilliantly because he might never play at Highbury again. He really LOVES Afc because we rescued him from Italy where he was being judged in comparison with Marco van Basten! He is a man who values being able to live a relatively normal life and DETESTED the goldfish-bowl like existence where there are journalists (?) on your doorstep all day, every day! As far as I am concerned he should be employed by the club in ANY capacity they can talk him into - he is just the perfect role model for the younger players (see the difference he is making to van Persie's life). One more year of playing like he did last night for half an hour at the end of a match when we really need him would help tremendously in the transition to his replacement (whoever that might be). His testimonial would be the PERFECT final match at Highbury.

One word. Liverpool.
How can they be in the final? You battered them at the weekend.
And they were trying to play. I don't think there actually any Everton players awake on Wednesday.

I think it happened back in August when you took it upon yourself to select a squad of players called Stephen.

You could be right there. But it was a challenge and I stuck to my guns with only adding in Roberts.

Typical. Everton have had a few clean sheets recently, but not played Pistone. Put him back in, and what happens?
This is what you get when you pick a player on the grounds of his position and the club he plays for, rather than the fact that he as presented with a sheep's heart by his colleagues while he was at Newcastle because he was a coward.
