How do you find out the third number?

When you open FM, on the main menu (the one with New Game/Load Game/Load Last game etc), the top right hand corner of your screen would say 7.0.2 if that was the version you had. Also, if you click new game the default database would be "update 7.0.2" If you don't have it, you can download it from http://www.footballmanager.net/en/patches/index.html by clicking the top link under the "Downloads" heading, the link marked "Download the official data update 7.0.2 for FM 2007 on PC now. This patch is saved game compatible.
