I recently inherired an old slide rule, does anyone know how they work. or know any one who knows how they work.

I know it's something to do with logs, look at how the numbers are spaced out and you'll see what I mean.
Other than that I don't know.

You should count yourself lucky. I'm training to be a dispensing optician and have a frame rule and facial rule to learn how to use without poking peoples eyes out
