Firstly, apologies for taking so long to respond. I've had internet access problems for most of the summer. However, I have now had the chance to look at the sites you suggested, and have added a few of them to the Jukebox page.
I actually had Black Sabbath there already, but in the main part of the page. I didn't know that they'd officially split again, but as that is the case I've moved their link to the "Gold" section. I wouldn't mind betting that they'll be back, though. If you ask me, they're undead.

Thanks for those, but I have to say this: you're right about the obscurity factor. I've worked as a music journalist for many years and I've heard of precisely three of those bands: Judas Priest, Deicide and the semi-legendary Cannibal Corpse. (Who amongst us has not, in some carefree moment, whistled their catchy anthem "Entrails Ripped From A Virgin's C"?)
Ever since I started The Music Website Jukebox, I have sincerely hoped that someone whose tastes were radically different to mine would set up an alternative Jukebox elsewhere in h2g2. I think you should be that someone: after all, you've got all the links already. If you do that, I promise I'll provide a link from my Jukebox page.

"Who is this doofus who didn't bother to read the jukebox page?!"
In case that's your mind I read , I did read the page and the idea of creating my own page, but nothing really clicked. Hmmm...forum full of links. Tonnes more where they came from. Guess that's more than enough of I sign for me to get my act together.
But the idea of having to code all that....%-รพ.......
Gimme some time...
