Pond boy says thanks a million for all the birthday wishes. He is walking aroundafter picking up the bike. I've even been out with him too. We went to visit PL at school and he was seriously impressed.

I'm afraid I can't stay as we're gong out to dinner and again!! We never do birthday's by half in the pond as you never know when it might be your last. Sorry, that's not meant to be depressing it's just that when I go I don't want any regrets!

I bought PB 'The Ultimate Kinks Collection' double CD and we've been playing it LOUD most of the day. There's 42 tracks and each one's a gem! You can borrow it to play on the jukebox while we're out if you like as long as you play Waterloo Sunset for Jen

I also bought him 'Sichuan Cooking' by the amazing Fuschia Dunlop so hopefully you'll all be treated to some excellent, authentis Chinese food in the near future.
