I promise to update as and when I can. Only possible from home as my Boss is too tight (or too sensible?) to give me Internet access.

Steve Wrights Oldies:
OK Folks - a thought occurred to me on my drive home from Oxfordshire.
Why don't we all post 3 of our favourite oldies here - I'll then collate them all, and when we've got 30 (shouldn't take to long) I can copy and paste them and email them to Steve Wright and ask him to play the Comfort Corner Oldies.
Now all I've got to do is think about which are my 3 favourite oldies in the whole wide !
These record would also be available on our jukebox here in CC!

Hi Ruth
Great idea about the oldies. Can I be the first to put in my choices?
Mine keep changing but right now they would be:-
Everyday I Write The Book - Elvis Costello
I have To Say I Love You In A Song - Jim Croce
This Old Heart Of Mine - Isley Bothers
See you later

Hi Helen
Excellent choices.
Have copied and pasted them into a folder on my computer - will let you all know when I've sent it to SW.

What a brill idea, Ruth!!!!
Just three favourites? That's hard.
Most beautiful love song:
The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face - Roberta Flack
Brings back happy memories song:
More Than A Feeling - Boston
For Sandy:
Little Baby Nothing - The Manic Street Preachers (IF I can bear to listen to it)

Hi Corrie
Another fantastic selection - I know 3 is really difficult, but I figured there was about 10 of us in here now, and SW asks for between 20 and 30 (hey if we do get our oldies played, then wouldn't it be good if Mark Goodier is standing in - then you get a full 45 minutes!)
If we don't get 30 I'll come back to you all for some more!
Key: Complain about this post
