Highlights another shortcoming on this part of h2g2 communication. I suppose posting a paragraph at a time would ease the impact of so much text. But with half the planets diameter between us, it would have taken days.

I get the impression of a few people who've taken the opportunity to take the piss a bit, and then quickly cover their asses when they're sussed.

Anyway, I don't have any enemies that I know of, but I am someone else's enemy!
Well, it's a complicated thing (sort of). I'll explain.

Many moons ago, when I was still a rather green researcher, I was posting in a rather large and distinguished conversation (well that's what it felt like at the time). And over time the conversation's subject changed at the whim of the other people. So here's me making a posting at a critical point, not quite on subject.
The person who started the conversation makes a lame reference, and someone else takes the piss.

Actually, I won't cover them any more. It was Irving Washington who took my piss and I still remember it.

So, I've got kinda bitter feelings towards that hypocrite (ooh strong words, if not truly applicably ones). If he read this he'd be right to complain "oh man can't we just live and let live?"
Of course, once you start forgiving people they start taking advantage of you. So I don't.

Mike A: No offence, we're both teenagers but please, watch the language!! (sorry, but I have been brought up in a way that I get into serious trouble otherwise!!) Please note I'm not absolutely "pure" and there is plenty of it at school. Actaully, our school has banned a few girls from using the e-mail for sending jokes-not rude-but contained swearing. But hey, that's our saded out school that I go to....

What? I thought you were from London, at least the way you seemed to be talking of it so fondly in other forums! Ooops, hang on, I just re-read it, so you now live in London but used to be in Plymouth. Should've stayed there until the eclipse-that was in the path of totality!!!!! (that's my ambition in life-to get in the path of a total eclipse!!!)

No, I lived in Bristol for nearly five years, and then moved to Plymouth.
Ah, I remember where I mentioned London! Yeh, I've been on holiday there a few times, and saw those celebrities by accident. Nice.

Really, I'd like to move to a nice inconspicuos village somewhere. I back up to Bristol. So long as I had Internet access.
