h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

R_O_Shipman hasn't posted on h2g2 for two months, although he has been on 606 as recently as three weeks ago. Does the two month rule for FM stand in this case? This entry should be in the Guide!

Give him a poke on his Personal Space maybe, see if he comes back in a coupla weeks, if not FM?

I was going to post that I believe that Erinsborough is supposed to be a fictional suburb of Melbourne (where neighbours is filmed) and the other towns mentioned are suppossed to be nearby suburbs as well. Much like Solihull, Shirley, Kings Norton or Hall green are suburbs of Birmingham in the UK.

However I see the authors has buggered off so I guess whoever picks this entry up can change it...

I have to disagree with you there, Cardi. I'm from Solihull, and I can promise you we're not a suburb of Birmingham, we're a town in our own right. Shirley is part of Solihull.

bah if its inside the M42 its Birmingham in my book!

Sorry if I'm nagging on this one, but I don't think it will take much work to get it into the Guide.

I'm happy to nominate this entry for the flea market. Only question- is it actually ready for the eg?

It's not quite ready, which is why it needs moving to FM to get polished off. I don't think it would take much after that.

I agree, this would be great for the EG providing it's shined up a wee bit first.
