It was a bit too damp during the rainy season. And China had a big wall to keep the silverfish out.

Those silverfish were trying to invade China too?

Well, they tried to invade Atlantis but I think the wall kept 'em out of China. That and the giant bug balm ball.

Yes, I told the French that they should build one of those to keep the silverfish out, but they didn't listen to me. Now look what happened to them.

Er, what happened? They made pastries?

I learned long ago never to trust silverfish...

No, they thought that their mime artists would keep the silverfish at bay.

...So THAT'S the deal with the mimes...

Yeah. The silverfish kept them as a monument to French stupidity.

That reminds me, I used to live in a seedy 'hood in San Francisco. I ate in some VERY nasty little dives. But after years of that I never got food poisoning.

...I ate at CHEVY'S! Ah, bitter irony.

I just ran off to watch a quick story on John Fogerty and Creedence Clearwater Revival. I loved that band, especially Born On The Bayou and Fortunate Son.
