I say that the name of the user/link to peoples PS that appears on posts should stay blue for men, but be pink for women. It's the only way to solve this problem.

...they can be fusha...or lavander...or offcolor white (which can discribe any color...)

One of those RED pages. There used to be a place where you could suggest new smiley (before they stopped that). Maybe we should go there.

I think it would be better if there was a little male or female symbol next to those who wished to have their gender posted...

Red pages are pages on the site about the site (like the help pages). I called them red pages as they're red as opposed to blue (in brunel).

When my nickname was still Yael there were a couple of cases when people didn't know my gender... but now the 'lady' bit is sort of a giveaway.

I don't think I really like that cause very much... it makes things too easy.

...yes but for many people with names that seem to hint at the opposite gender life isn't so sweet...

many people think the cow is a girl because they hear cow and the first thing they think of is udders.

I still don't know why people think I am a boy. I never thought of rainbows as anything but feminine...

Yes, that's why I say they should make female users names pink. It would be relativly simple to do IMHO.

...I think that's probably too stereotypical and would offend people...and it wouldn't work in goo...blue on blue and all...and a large portion of user use goo...so it would need to be symbols...kinda like the online symbol...which I believe one time I came accross where they suggested that...
