A Conversation for Summer Solstice

Allow me to introduce myself in the context of this page.
I am a solitary (for the most part) pagan practitioner - I say 'for the most part' because I work closely with a couple of friends, one of whom is a Celtic Shaman (currently my own leaning) and the other, my boyfriend, follows the beliefs of the Sioux. But these are people who teach me and who I teach, and who I have experienced many things with.
I shy away from the term 'Wicca' because I am a student of many different pagan philosiphies, as well as oriental and native american structures.. and I think that in my native England the term is applied a little differently to in the US in any case. However, I am committed to my pagan beliefs and to what I truly feel to be right.
Anyway, enough rambling, I could blether on all day.. my main point is that on the 21st of June 2000, the summer solstice, this year.. I will be in the U.S on business, over 5,000 miles from my friends and unable to contact them. My question is, does anyone know of a special place I could go to celebrate the solstice (on my own if need be) in or around Phoenix, AZ? I will not have access to a car, so my initial idea of going to the Grand Canyon seems unlikely to be feasible. (It would have been marvellous, though, wouldn't it?)
Thank you
Gnome
