I use the dog in both a metaphorical and a pejorative sense.
Like the mythical homework-eating dog, it ate what I wrote,
the stupid s****y script.
OK, so, it's 3:30am, but no bloody script should eat what
you've typed if it you gets a field wrong

I find the best dogs are the ones in a curry! You just vcan't beat curried alsation although there has to be quite a few of you eating it or you'll be there for weeks & its a bugger to get in your fridge!!!
