You have deeply offended a great number of people who use H2G2 and Floor42. Your rules about who can and can't vote or run in this competition are rude and insulting and unfair. I will be reporting you to Peta.

I'm so happy everything was just a big misunderstanding. I suppose we tend to get a little protective of our friends, so I suppose we should also try to hear both sides of the story before ripping the innocent offender to shreds, eh? Thanks for clearing everything up, and good luck with the competition!

Hi Amanda, and thanks for everything you've done.
Emmy's very lucky to have such protective friends - I feel jealous, although I still feel guilty over upsetting her. And I must admit that in your place I'd've done exactly the same thing if I had thought a friend of mine was being insulted.

On the one hand, I'm glad that people realise that I *did* make a mistake, and everyone so far has forgiven me, although I have not yet heard from the really important person in these matters - Emmy herself - but on the other hand I don't really want this whole episode to be blown over, forgiven and forgotten if I really upset Emmy. I don't know how hurt Emmy was, and if I did seriously hurt her, no matter how unintentionally, I feel as if I should do something to make up, and not just ignore any feelings of Emmy's and pretend they do not matter now.

Well, Emmy isn't around NEARLY as much of the rest of us anyway, but judging her by her naturally sweet nature, I'm sure all will be forgiven.

And don't worry - if anyone ever messes with you, just let me know. Brute force has it's limitations but can also be FUN!
