Humph. Some people don't know well meaning advice when it grumps up in their PR thread.
>>
>>The choice is up to you, and you can always change your mind.
Not once you've started!
--Umm, this is about cutting up bits of paper and sticking them to other bits of paper. How difficult can it be to repeat the process?
<<
This line was about choosing a scrapbook size. Once you begin pasting, you can't tear it out, return the book, and buy another just cos you don't like the size.

Some albums you can - they come looseleaf. If you decide you don't like it, buy a replacement page, put it back in place of the one you're about to rip out and take it back.

He thinks he's done! Who do you think you are, William Shakespeare, that you can churn out perfect prose devoid of the need for improvement?
>>in fact, you may wish to start with something even smaller, just big enough for one photo per page.
- That means a 4x6? Or just large enough for one photo and a dash of related paraphenelia?
>>The choice is up to you, and you can always change your mind, especially if you have a looseleaf scrapbook to which you can add more pages.
- I still don't get the logic in this line. Here's my linear thinking.
Topic: choosing a scrapbook size
Suggestion: if you decide you don't like the size you can change your mind by adding pages
My thoughts: ??????
*Now* does anyone understand my confusion? Hey Shakespeare - does that make complete sense to you?
>>You'll also want to find an album with a colour or pattern tha
- Since then entire first 3/4 of the paragraph deals with page size, maybe this should be a new paragraph?
>>you will be cutting things out
- You will be cutting things. Not necessarily out. Maybe aside, or off, or just hacking and slashing. The greatest attention to word choice, Sir Bard, exemplifies your dramas and sonnets. Why not apply it to your Guide entries?
>>Rotary cutters, which look like pizza cutters, have interchangeable and replaceable blades but need a cutting mat in use.
- Not sure if I mentioned specialty shape cutters. If I did and you don't want to mention it, don't. If I didn't, here's the info. These sort of stamper things that round edges or create perfect circles in a myriad of sizes. My sister finds them absolutely essential. After all, why sit there painstakingly cutting out an excitingly uneven star when you can choose from 10 different sized and shaped uneven stars?
>>Here are three tips which will quickly and easily have you on your way to creating great focal points.
- In a very technical pedantic way, the "which" should be a that. Of course, if you're coming from the 17th Century, you might not know that.
>>A wedding picture may be complimented with little horseshoes or a ball and chain cut out of card.
-
I won't repeat any objections. Of course, all of the above are just suggestions, Mr. S. Don't feel discouraged by the criticism - we'd love to have more entries by you. (Now *that* would get some public attention...)

Thanks, Leo - I was about to ask your advice on something entirely unrelated, but I don't think I'll bother now
I've sorted out your confusion by deleting the line 'The choice is yours...', added a bit about shape cutters and completely ignored the rest of your suggestions To be honest, I'm laughing too much to work out which you actually mean and which ones you're just extracting the urine with.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have sonnets to compose...

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

Oi! Don't drag me into this kerfankle. You found it - you cleaned it up, you then had to clean up the bits I added when I couldn't resist having my tuppence worth. You're the proud father, I just fetched the towels.
Congratulations - Your Entry has been Picked for the Edited Guide!

Where would we be without towels?

Drip drying.
Of course thanks to me. None of those high quality corrections would have been made if someone around here wasn't afraid to speak her mind.
