This is informative and told me stuff I did n't know about Kafka.
But, the first paragraph needs rewriting. I think more emphasis should be placed on what he did i.e. name some of his works OR that the term Kafkaesque was coined after him. I don't think the key fact about Kafka is that he spoke German (incidentally, saying that he came from a German speaking country isn't strictly accurate).
Shame because the rest of the article is very good.
