Has anyone actually tried the h2g2 site on a real i-mode phone (in Japan, I guess). Is there an i-mode emulator to test your postings?

We've had a couple of people have a look at the site in Japan, just to make sure it works.
I've seen one iMode emulator, but it doesn't do a very good emulation - it just uses the MS Internet Explorer ActiveX control to view HTML pages and surrounds it with a phone GUI.
There is one downloadable emulator (it might be that one or might be a different one) available from the egroups iMode group at http://www.egroups.com/group/iMode_group . Look under "Files". Or you could join the group and ask some of the people what they think - about half of them are in Japan.
