You didn't find Shazz in the list, but as I wrote in Email (with her own message attached), she quit the ACE-thing, because she's too busy.
I see I was a little mistaken: you've copied all the stuff into three windows on this page, looks very cool...
But there's actually noithing new, except that you altered the layout of my code a bit... absolutely no new functionality... What's the point of the excercise?
my compliments
Anonymouse Posted Dec 10, 1999
Skel, dear.. that -was- the whole point. To alter the layout and make it easier for everyone to cut it and paste it into their homepages. That's -all-. I said so at the top of the page. I never laid claim to any of it. I don't -want- claim to any of it (especially since if there's a mistake, it's your baby. )
'Nonnie

I don't SEE that point!
For cut&paste it is absolutely of NO importance whatsoever how the code is laid out, and for running the code it doesn't matter either... the only thing you could claim, is that it would be more readable (perhaps).
Wiser would it have been if you suggested to ME that I edit the layout a bit. That would have been the right thing to do, and could not have been mistaken for plagiarism. I did that with Bruce's original pulldown example: just suggest another method, and he voluntarily put a link to me on his page in return. If you would have done the same towards me, your name would have been included on my page as well. Now you've only succeeded in making me mad once again!
my compliments
Anonymouse Posted Dec 10, 1999
Look. I have -tried- to be nice. But your being mad is your own fault, not mine. If Bruce wrote that code, than what gives you the right to control it's destiny? I've had his code for his random researcher on my page for quite a while. Yes, I made it more readable, and easier to cut because you're not getting all the blank space and ugly wrapping when you paste. I've had several compliments on the idea (both here in these forums and through other media), and a couple thanks from people who tried the code from your page and had it mess up theirs. I -did- suggest it be put up like I have it, but nothing became of it, so I did it myself.
Quite frankly I'm running out of patience with you and your attitude since you became "Skeleton the Ace" instead of just plain old friendly Festival. And since no one else wants to tell you, I will.. I'm not alone in that assessment. Why, after all this time of keeping my mouth shut? Because you're over the line and I have ceased giving a .
my compliments

Nice? You've never been nice!
I did NEVER control the destiny of Bruce's code, I just suggested some improvements, and HE FOUND THEM USEFUL ENOUGH TO THANK ME!
An if you STILL don't get what I'm mad about, then you're actually STUPID! You NEVER suggested to me that I should alter the layout of the code, because if you had done that I would have SEEN it somewhere!
When the code is in a textbox (other than in a forum) the layout can NOT be messed up by cut&paste, unless you're stupid and c&p is line by line!
Quite frankly I don't give a DAMN about your opinion... You're just another antisocial adolescent trying to piss me off every time you see an opportunity. I have yet to see the first person greeted by you!
You've only applied for ACE-ship because it grants you a link on the H2G2-team-page, not because you wanted to DO something for it!
And if you actually REALLY wanted to give me credit, you would not have referred to me as "Skel", but as "Skeleton (ACE)", you rodent!
And my name has got nothing to do with my behaviour towards anyone...
Just as long as you behave correctly, you won't ever see me even BARK, let alone BITE!
my compliments

Golly, how incredibly nasty all this was...
I didn't even know about all this silliness until I saw Festival's name had changed yet again.
You're a good mouse Nonnie. We all love you!!

Yeah well, Jinx gave me a link. This is all crazy bulls**t man!
It's just, this isn't the sort of stuff you relate to h2g2, is it man?
And all the hype that goes on around it...this guy is like a f**king god, isn't he?!
my compliments
Mike A (snowblind) Posted Mar 9, 2000
I just read the email you sent me, the one that said why Selli was (effectively) banned.
It's f**king useless s**t. No offence to you, but it seems people are trying to cover this up and pretend it never happened.
So, to be honest, I'm starting to give less of a flying f**k about him (no offence to him but I never knew him), and I really want to propely know just why we've got this s**t on our doorsteps.
my compliments
Mike A (snowblind) Posted Mar 9, 2000
I'm saying that people are trying to cover this up and pretend it never happened.
Maybe I should swear less *^_^*.
my compliments
Jo (Dead) Posted Mar 9, 2000
But it did happen. People are only ignoring it because they don't want to dwell on this one and only nasty incident that h2g2 has encountered (apart from me and Lisa but that's different) and neither do I. They don't want this to happen! A huge flare-up months after the issue has been resolved! Please! Just let it be!
my compliments
Mike A (snowblind) Posted Mar 9, 2000
Their ain't no flare-up. And I've got a right to know what's happened but people ain't willing to explain it true and honest right here right now.
Kid, you should see the thread on Loonytunes's homepage. 'Just to let you know...' it's called, and it's one of the most pathetic flare-ups I've ever seen. Not quite of the same scale as the Skelli fiasco, but I was in that thread pretty much from the start!
