A very powerful and interesting piece. This makes great reading. I don't know how accurate your work is, as I don't know much about China's exploitation in Tibet, but it appears to be a thoroughly researched piece.
I hope this goes in the guide, this information appears to have significant educational implications for the general reader. I am aware of Tibet's struggle in retaining its identity and culture but unaware of the apparent rape of its resources by China.
Wow!

Dear TT,
Thanks for your kind remarks. I have been working ( as Tibet Support Group Ireland. I was a founder of ECOTibet in 1989 ) on the Tibetan question for fifteen years, and the sources for my piece are many and varied. I try to keep up-to-date with realistic asessments of the situation. Fortunately, there are many good information-gathering netweorks which support our efforts.
Since writing the piece, I have just today had an interesting update on the military implications of the new Golmud-Lhasa railway, which I have included.
Glad you liked it.
Cheers,
Chai
