Never seen auroae sadly Glad you liked the links.
Any news on the Astronomy site yet? I do actually know Patrick Moore so I could possibly get him to visit the site. I know he has the internet but doubt that he is on H2G2 yet. If it gets accepted I'll let him know.
(Please visit http://www.h2g2.com/A259913 to take part in an experiment that I have set up. Currently only one person has taken part and I could really do with dome help. Please tell your friends too.)
Thanks awfuly,
Nick

Actually, I've been meaning to get back to you on this one...
My wife and I have been trying it and she says that in cultures with mirrors, you will almost always get the mirror effect. She thinks a true test would be to try it in a culture without mirrors and see how they react.

For the record: Everyone in my family, parents, grandparents, and my oldest daughter all did the mirror effect so that something like eight of us all together.
Hope that helps!!

Thats really interesting about the cultures with mirrors, very interesting indeed.... Unfortunatly I don't happen to know anyone who may live somewhere like that.
I'll add the results to my current ones.
Thanks
Nick

I tried it but the only one home was my dog and she thought I was asking if she wanted to go out so she ran away.

UPDATE FOR APRIL
Jimi X Posted Mar 30, 2000
There's all the SETI pages. And I think Setup Weasel was studying astrophysics at Penn State University. But I don't have a link for him....
Aurora Warning.
Phil Posted Apr 7, 2000
For all the northern hemisphere researchers taking a look out for auroa might be a good idea tonight.

Phil Posted Apr 7, 2000
I will also if a) I remember after an evening in the pub and b) I think I might be able to see something in the midst of the London (UK) skyglow light pollution.
Aurora Warning.
Jimi X Posted Apr 7, 2000
I keep hoping that governments will wake up and stop further light pollution and slowly work to eliminate existing light offenders.

Well given that they gave a load of lottery money to groups wanting to illuminate historic buildings for the millenuim I don't think it's going to happen soon
