I wasn't sure if that was going to be a klaxon or not.

It was an educated guess based on the fact that I know what a lagomorph is - ie a rabbit, or hare. So "snowy lagomorph" = white rabbit, and dreaming of white rabbits suggested Alice. I don't know what the rest of the clue means though, though the way it's worded suggests that it's a clue to where she's buried?? Perhaps someone else can work it out.

So we are trying to explain "At St Michael’s feet amongst lime trees upon a hill", is that it?

St Michael : Archangel? Angel?
Or are we looking for his feet at the same time? So "at St Michael's feet" might be something to do with a dragon?

Near St Michael's Mount perhaps?

Lewis Caroll's real name was the Reverend Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, as I'm sure you already know.

It'a the start of Alice in Wonderland isn't it? Alice fell asleep after the picnic, and was awoken by (or dreamed) the White Rabbit from which the rest of the story springs.
