Surface area of lakes/waterways? But then NL would probably rank among the first...

Annual agricultural exports? With Thailand at first, doesn't it produce something like 40% of all the world's rice?

Icy North Posted Sep 16, 2008
Er, I don't have the Irish per-capita rice production figures to hand , but I don't think they would seriously threaten Thailand in that list. (Vietnam would come second) Neither is it anything to do with lakes/rivers.
Thailand comes 56th in my list, with 3,400 of these per million people.

I was talking about agricultural products in general, not specifically rice. The reason I mentioned rice is because Thailand has a relatively large population (60 million or so), so it'd have to export shed-loads of something to bring up its X per million, which it does.

I was tempted to say peat bogs themselves, but surely Canada would come out on top of that list... although Finland and China would probably be quite high up too. It might depend on when the figures came out, as the number of peat bogs has been declining in Ireland recently, as far as I was aware, due to the changing climate (or so some scientists think).

Is Ireland that litigious a nation? No, it's not lawyers, nor is it peat bogs. Agriculture is the area to concentrate on here...

Oh, and you mentioned Finland and China:
Finland came 5th, with 37,100 of these per million people
China came 90th, with 600 pm.

Tractors?
Farmers?
Pigs/chickens?
Lakes?
Tons of fertiliser?
Pine trees?
Fences?

Bad luck, Pedro, because Rod is quite correct, with tractors
The country with the larget number of tractors per capita, isn't Russia, though, and I already awarded a klaxon for that guess.
So, which country is it?
