Hi Opti, this is a nice concise read.

Just a couple items. You say he was a "Dental Mechanic". Having looked web wise at various bio's on Dean they all state "Dental Technician" which frankly makes more sense to me than 'mechanic'.

You also have several quotes from other and dean about various aspects of his life/personality, example, he says "I don't know the reason for moms death", as this is a direct quote perhaps it would be better in italics? Same goes for the other quote from Edna Ferber.

Could I suggest that you modify the title of this piece slightly.

I believe that the usual convention is to put the 'nickname' in the quotes. It should be James 'Jimmy' Dean-Actor.
