There are lots of pages listing all the h2g2 smileys*, but I don't think there are any that shows when the different smileys came to h2g2. Well, now there is.

There are a few of them that I'm not sure about, please let me know if you find something wrong.

When was the released? It kind of belongs together with the , but I'm quite sure it didn't come together with the Wimbledon smileys. But it didn't come 6 July either, did it?

(Well, if it did, and the announcement of 40 new smileys was correct, it would mean that one of the other smileys I've listed under 6 July doesn't belong there. That one *could* then be the one missing from 8 November 2000 where Mark had announced 92 new smilies. On the list here there are only 91 plus Shim's fish, but that one really shouldn't count!)
