I keep getting that one smiley - sadface

Its like when "Windows" keeps telling me "this program is not responding" but it wont tell you *what* program it is

The dna software isn't getting any data from the database so it doesn't know what any error might be (and for some reason it fails to suggest that that in itself is an error smiley - erm).

On the other hand, with Windows I usually (always?) have a good idea exactly which program is not responding - because of the abnormal behaviour (or lack thereof!) of its Window interface. Even if I didn't know precisely which incarnation was broken it would still be a pretty good bet it was Internet Explorer. smiley - online2long
