h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I am subscribed to Film Network as well as h2g2
and Radio 2 when I add Friends to my Friend's list on h2 g2 their
real name comes up on Film Network. They may not like this.

What do you suggest should be done about it?

It has applied to the ican sub-site (now called actionnetwork) for longer without anything much being done.

So basically what it means is that I can't add any friends to my list for fear of their name being exposed. Never mind. Thanks for replying so quickly. I should be getting on with some other things anyway. I may pop in and see you again. Shall I try and add you to my friends list? Do you mind your real name popping up?

The BBC are definitely on two nibds about publishing your name.

What do you think about that ? Anyone filling in their real name on Ican Action Network should know what they are doing. And if you need permission, you need to get permission.

Only by changing your < <./>UserDetails</.> > from the other site you activate your name fields. Before that you only have a NickName on any site (some show your number instead).

I would, but it won't as a result of that anyway - at least not more of it than already shows! My name settings go back to the old BBC message board system (and were reduced at the first sign of stalkers).

Oh well, such is life. I'm chasing the benefits office at the moment, they can't find me, so I don't suppose anyone else will either
