Will there ever be a Hitchhiker's 3D Computer game?

What i want to know, is will there ever be a 3D Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy computer game.
i know there is a text adventure, and i know work on a 3D game was started, but then cancelled when Douglas Adams died. but is the game going to be finished, cause i'd love to play it. it's worth somebody doing. i mean it needs to be done it's something that Douglas Adams wanted to happen, but people die, so i jsut hope someone finishes the game. It would be GREAT!
