Is anyone else here suffering from shrinking smiley syndrome, or is it just me?

Icy North Posted May 30, 2006
Talking of shrinking smileys, I discovered some very interesting graphic effects the other day, that will transform the graphics in this place when they get widely known. It's probably things that Arty can't see - you would need Internet Explorer v5.5 to view them.
I'm currently writing an article on them. If you want to see an example, look at my personal space

Hi B'el, this connection I'm on (new one) is playing up. I can only imagine that the reason my smileys are tiny is that with the digibox lacking a memory it struggles to generate larger pictures etc, so, if I visit a page with large pics or screeds of smileys or text then the digibox gives preference to the larger pics and the smileys suffer..and shrink!
Hope you understood that, because I didn't..

They work You know, I was half expecting to find the linked pages upside down, too
That's neat, although it's more difficult to read now, you should pity poor old people like me

Now all you need is to write the mirrored words upside down - then nobody will be able to even guess what is on your page

Bel, that's only the beginning. Some of the effects are really weird.
I've put it back to normal now before I get yikesed.

Icy North Posted May 30, 2006
Oh, and you can combine them very easily - mirrored & upside down is no problem.
Other effects are brightness, shinyness, shadows, colour, embossed/engraved, blur, wave, etc. Most of the things you would find on a picture editor package. You can change text and graphics.

OK, I've set it to "wave".
Arty, you would need to be viewing this through a very recent version of Microsoft Internet Explorer to see the effects.

I see dead people.. I can't see anything B'el, I'm most disappointed with Mr.Norths blatant disregard for us poor digibox users, it's not fair..and well he knows it!hhmmmpppffff

OK, out of respect for my good friend, I have put it back to where it was.
Any further experimentation will continue in a new article attached to my homepage.
