Well folks with regards to setting I'm hopeless!
I dont devote anytime whatsoever to it!
You may have noticed...
I must admit at the moment its a close tie between Sole and Lugworm.
And must add for ingenuity my vote goes to Lugworm.
Sole has informed me already that hes no stranger to anagram setting.I for one started this and the old tenner simply to pass the time on hootoo not to become a master setter,so in all honesty I'm just a novice at this...secrets out..hope your all having fun as usual...think its time the hyphenated selection was freed up,clue maybe?

Well setting has always been my problem, unfortunately I don't have the urge to find something witty, i'm just so glad to string a few small words together to get my solved one posted but I do enjoy solving and can sit for hours with one word, as I did last night trying to find the hyphenated one, failed miserably too... and this ones for you Sole, over the past few days most of the words posted were while I was on the phone, maybe I 'set' better when my mind is elsewhere but Gordon I am enjoying it, full marks to you, its a very nice place to come and with all the different words to solve you can get away with not having an opponent and still enjoy solving a few words..

Well i've had a look at them all and they seem fine to me, none of them looks odd... i'm not keen on brunel at the best of times but that is probably the one that looks the least best!!... so you've done well in your choice..

I'm still in plain skin, don't see any reason to change over as the others don't have anything better to offer me, just smaller writing and I can't be doing with that my eyes are bad enough i'm going to take a rest for a bit too.. my brain might function better after some food..

A small intrusion of your precious time.I wish to purchase a very modern concise dictionary.Suggestions please.I realise these books are costly but something not too pricey shall suit me,me being a tight-fisted Scotsman and all.....

Incidentally on my hyphenated posting the(1)means 1 hyphen, just thought I'd clarify that.

I got all my main reference books from that book club that just about gave them away free if you signed up for a year but I was needing gardening books at the time so my money wasn't wasted and I got some good books too, but I cancelled the minute my time was up lol... think you should be able to pick a paper back version quite cheap lol..
