Sole, any chance of a clue for your words, they've been there quite some time now and I feel scuppered so point me in the direction of a soda please.. and if the clues are good ones I might post how I got from admiring Sole to being demoralised!! not brilliant but some made me smile

Hope that helps. The 'old' niner is not that old or that tough - I'm sure you'll want to find it for yourself. Since there are now so many anagram threads, the 'old' tenner is really aimed at Lugworm - it's a rather dangerous creature, native to Australia. I'm breaking for a while, so relax and all will be revealed!

tenner, do so - I'm far from certain that Lugworm appreciates the references to things Australian anyway.

My mistake - I assumed you were referring to the 'old' tenner (SNUB NEW ELF). I aggree, there is no N in felt cupper......pity, really.

ok, how many hours have passed now since I asked for a clue for the 9 and the 10 letter words.. I got the 9 but I didn't get the 10 it now appears... so hows about it... a clue for the 10 in anagramitis, I think I have made myself clear.. the spider is a funnelweb or something like that I think...
