I've deleted Beeblecast from 'nutshell' I think that was what was requested.
If we're going to have a Beeblecast/Guidecast for newbies, how about calling it, 'Welcome to h2g2' and have a link on 'The Aviators Home Page' (A13264670) where the other links are.

I think there's some confusion here with the name Beeblecast. It's only a part of what the Aviators do.
They provide AV for the Edited Guide: The Guidecast (a series of videos, not just one).
They provide AV for The Post and other bits and pieces: The Beeblecast (currently one video*, but it should stretch to more video and audio episodes).
And on the site you'll also find a separate feed for music which has been featured in the background of other clips.
So a video for newbies would be within the remit of the Aviators (and might possibly appear within the Beeblecast stream).

I'm easily confused, so it's not difficult 
Basically what I'm saying is IMO any off-site video, whatever you want to call it, for newbies doesn't need it's own page created, nor have the word ACE in it. We already have a suitable page for it - The Aviators Home Page.

I think you should have a link to the Aviators page and to the Post issue featuring the first Beeblecast, but not to the Beeblecast itself or any of the other video clips.
What I thought we could make a clip of would be something like the YouTube help videos, for example http://youtube.com/watch?v=X0z2i83fmMk. With some really easy filming or screenshots of various parts of the site, we could actually show people around. I thought it might be a useful thing to link to directly from ACE welcomes, a bit like an AV version of the tour starting at A317459. We could actually show people where things are rather than explaining.
Up to you, Emmily. It would be quite easy to do if you guys want it
