Looks like a fine time was had by all.
Did you see any wildlife?

Looks like I missed out on it. It sounds like it was a good day.

There was plenty in the pub, Venus!
There was a little bit of birdlife, meadow pipits and the fantastic sound and flight of skylarks. It was fairly quiet, though, as Dartmoor tends to be a few weeks behind the rest of Devon when it comes to the arrival of spring. If we'd had the meet in late April/May, there would have been much more about. When it's a bit blustery, as it was, it's difficult to hear birds from any great distance.

I knew I'd miss a sizzler of a meet. Thank you for the mention, none the less.
Lovely write-up. It was almost as good as being there.

If there's to be another one, I'll certainly come. In fact, I might just come to Dartmoor for the hell of it one day.

Good pics Rich! And an excellent read too.
Although as there's a distinct lack of pics with Skanyrich in, I figure I should add one of my own that _has_ got Rich in it:

When I get round to it I'll add my tuppence worth. All the bits Skanky forgot due to

No, we just decided to stay on for a bit longer as the weather was so nice and J insisted he couldn't remember seeing Longleat or Stonehenge when he was 8 months old and wanted to see them again. Tch. I was tempted to stay another night, as we didn't get to do all of Longleat, but really just wanted to get home by then.
