Hehe - no worries is the Australian version of "you're welcome" or Sirius Cybernetics Corp's "Glad to be of Service"

Hi Bruce!
I've created a new type of Pulldown Link List at http://www.h2g2.com/A219908
You may wish to check it out, and provide a link to it, for people to check out this new alternative
Sincerely,
~Skelly

Hiya!
Zowie! Extra features
I've added a link to your new 'extra features' version.
If I could ask a favour please? Could you include a link to the GuideML Clinic ( http://www.h2g2.com/A187229 ) in your version? If you want to limit the links in your article just replace my name with the Clinic's - advertising the Clinic comes before adverts for Bruce
Thanks for the links btw.

Sure I can put in the link... It's already in the sample pulldown list, ofcourse, but you're right: when your name is used in an article like that, the Clinic ought to be mentioned as well. I'm not the kind of man to limit the number of links. The more the merrier
Have you *tried* the sample? I'm going to put just one more nice thing in, and that's going to blow your socks off
No worries about the links

Hehe - so many features
One problem with using userpage.cgi for a home link is that I don't remember how it handles an unregistered 'unknown hiker' who doesn't have a homepage. I think userpage.cgi has a problem with unregistered users though.
You might want to try document.links[7].pathname which contains the value in the my home/register link in the Goo. The only problem with this method is that you can't just put it in the OPTION= bit. You can see one way to use it if you do a view source on this page http://www.h2g2.com/A221653
testing for unregistered users is a bit of a problem right now as the site seems to have a problem letting unregistered users into Entry pages - which I've just emailed h2g2 about

I'll check this all out. I'm also thinking: someone who isn't registered, won't have a home to go to, so they shouldn't try
I'll see if I can find a way to keep it working, but without the unregistered bug. If I can't then this option will just have to go
The site seems to have more small bugs like that at the moment. It'll all be solved some time, I expect. I'm not worried
New code again!

I don't know if its a bug - I have a couple of user ids & I swap between them fairly often to check stuff out so its quite possible that Ive just upset the cookies.
The version above will send unregistered users to the register page if they pick Home from the list - but you're right - they're unlikely to pick it

Mummy - your new style list supposedly at http://www.h2g2.com/A219908 appears to have been deleted - is there a replacement out there?
