Looks like I may have put these into PR at the wrong time. Ah well, if anybody wants to comment, feel free, if not, well these can sit for a while

Looks OK to me Matt - dunno if you want to explain which Newcastle you're referring to.
(something Henry apparently had a little penchant for) - I had a penchant once, but I had to get rid of it, the upkeep was too much for me. (Hilda Baker I think)

Matt, one tiny remnant of the tense problem I mentioned in one of the companion entries is left in this one:
>>The castle again *saw* use for those seeking refuge from air raids during the Second World War<<
Nothing further to add

Thanks both,
I've fixed up those bits, do you mean I should put the Newcastle bit as in the Duke of the place Newcastle? Would a link do?

Welllll - if it is Newcastle Upon Tyne then how come this line "Architect and playwright John Vanbrugh convinced Thomas to take the castle as the Northern Seat of the Dukes of Newcastle" ?
Now whilst I am happy to see people bigging up the subject of their entry, I think to extend the boundaries of Nottingham to north of Newcastle might be a bit much.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
