Looks interesting Matt - I'm going to leave it til tomorrow too, as my eyes are closing.
For now, though - JS Lowry was LS Lowry, unless it's another lesser known chap.

Just checking you mean "Victorian" as most stem from post-WW1
For a history of the castle the read the following Entry, Nottingham Castle - from Normans to Tudors

Funnily enough it is a Victorian age war Memorial, it was erected in the late 1800s to remember the soldiers lost in the Afghan conflicts of the 1880s
All in the history section
I'll fix the other bit.

Felonious Monk - h2g2s very own Bogeyman Posted May 27, 2008
Woo-hoo! Something actually useful!
No doubt there have been other entries recently submitted to PR that demonstrate what h2g2 should really be about: I haven't been paying much attention to PR of late and so they must have passed me by. However, it's fair to say that the proportion of truly informative articles about everyday life compared to the whole has been dwindling.
Now, belatedly, h2g2 'gets real' at long last, remembering why it was created in the first place. Let's hope this isn't just a temporary remission from its years-long decline into whatever passes for Alzheimer's disease in electronic community sites.

It seems pretty comprehensive as a tourism guide, Matt - I like the fact that you've given a lot of practical detail that could be helpful for the visitor, too. For example disabled access, and the fact that the steps can be too much for kids. It's better than a lot of professional writing I've seen in that regard.

Thanks KB, that's what I was aiming for
FM, I've just come back from eating chocolate in the dark, an enjoyable romp with Iron Man

Have added a little more to this and fine-toothed. Feel free to nitpick, or even comment on the content

S'looking good Matt - are you sure curios is the word for what the shop sells.
I usually find museum shops range from the tasteful to the desirable, by way of junk and ill-conceived. Certainly what you list would make me think the shop was only worth a visit if I was buying for children.
Could be me though.

>>Two short films of about 20 minutes in length<<
I think you should either say *short* or give the duration, but not both

Hi there
I think this entry and the others you've linked to will make great additions to the Guide but first a few pointers if I may
<> repetition of the word 'the'
<> are you missing the word 'is'?
Please re-read what you have written I'm finding it awkward to read at present
