Buildings I wish they hadn't got rid of:
The Euston Arch (destroyed before my time - the 'new' Euston is horrible)
Wembley Stadium (for all its shortcomings as a stadium, there was something magical about the towers)
Crystal Palace (fair enough - if did fall victim to a fire)
The Astra Cinema in Barrow (replaced by a horrible edge-of-town multiplex. Why do we do this?!)

Oh yes, it's really a pity about the Crystal Palace.
I'd have loved to see it.
