You say w can forgot the old testament, but may I include some of my favourites first?!
Deuteronomy 23 1
'He whose testicles are crushed or whose male member is cut off shall not enter the assembly of the Lord'
Therefore is you have had treatment for testicular or penile cancer etc, God doesn't want you anymore, isn't that nice.
23 2
'No bastard shall enter the assembly of the Lord; even to the tenth generation none of his descendants shall enter the assembly of the Lord'
Isn't that forgiving!!
thats the best of the moment.
I notice you did not include King James in your altering section. He changed passages to make the King divine, to give himself more stature. There was nothing about the King being divinely chosen until he got his hands on it.
I believe he also entered the phrase 'thou shalt not suffer a witch to live'
Anyway, good stuff and if I find out anymore, then I shall let you know!

There's more high comedy than just the Pentateuch. Check out the episode of the Golden Hemmorhoids, and find out what happens to "he that pisseth upon the wall," and how much David pays for his first wife (200 Philistine foreskins... twice the asking price!).
Key: Complain about this post
