I'm sure you're probably sick to the back teeth of replying to posts to this entry.

But I am curious as to what has made you write this? And how have your beliefs caused you to write this?

I find it an interesting debate.

Actually, I'm not sick of it at all. I wrote this controversial piece because I enjoy controversy.

What made me write this is the fact that this information is out there, and it is widely known, but only to a small percentage of the population. It's sad that I never encountered any of these ideas until I was about 23 years old.

And the more I looked at it, the more unhappy I became with Christianity as a moral guide. There's some good bits, and some very bad bits, and mostly people take from it what they will, as suits their own natures. When people talk about Christian values, they should know what they're talking about.

In fairness though, there isn't a perfect model to go by. So people go by what they know.

Christianity has been unfortunate in that it has been a pawn in the schemes of Kings, Queens and Emperors. It has been manipulated, and the bible probably has been tampered with.

But I can't think of a religeon that hasn't been misused.

Although I have no real knowledge of a lot of the Asian religeons, so I don't know about them.

Athiesm is certainly no better, as a lot of information that is given is given out to the general populus is tampered by the governing powers.

In the end you make of it what you will. Its all a mess anyway.
