Are any of you familiar with The Residents' CD called 'Wormwood', where the songs are based on stories from the bible? The group selected the most perverse stories they could find. They do not directly attack the Judeo / Christian history, but rather try to point out that all is not 'sweetness and light' but rather that the these are stories of humans being human.

Thank you for that, errr... whoever (hope you think of a name soon)! I was very happy to be reminded of the excellent Residents, and will certainly take a look at those sites you mentioned. I have rather a lot of links to music-related sites on my page, and it'd be good to add a Residents one. smiley - smiley

It's the only sensible one about religeon I've heard. The rest are guys like Slayer and Marilyn Manson going I am the antichrist it's what I was meant to be your god left me behind and set my soul to be free.

Though, can I detect a lack of interest on your behalf?...

Mike: have you submitted that for the Hymns of the FFFF page? And if you had the lyrics to Send Me Your Money by Suicidal Tendencies, that would be another good addition.
