This looks good. It would look better if you could put it into GuideML. If you don't want to do that, put blank lines between paragraphs and add a few headers (titles on separate lines).
Instead of saying "This researcher", say "This entry". You're not really supposed to mention yourself.

I totally agree with Gnomon here. Nice entry. Would be even better in GuideML.

I happen to find entries much harder to read without GuideML format. I'm also not terribly focused at the moment. Nevertheless, I managed to get through some parts and have one comment. You say "it is like a small nation of different ethnicities" etc as if the Philippines weren't actually a nation. This might tend to give the wrong impression.

Baadmonkey? You have some positive comments about the entry here, which it would be good to have a response on.

Here's how:
Put at the start of every paragraph. Put at the end of every paragraph. Make sure to use an uppercase P, and that they are matched: there must be a for every .
Then click on the GuideML button and click on Change Style. You should see your newly formatted page.
Once you've got that working, you can do things like:
This is a header
This is a subheader
This is some bold text.
This is a link to some Eskrima Info.

It looks really good now!
You should remove the first two headings: 'Eskrima' and 'Some background'. The first merely repeats the title. The second is unnecessary as all entries should start with some background.
There are a few typos, mainly double letter problems:
Phillipines --> Philippines (one l, two p's)
neccessary --> necessary (one c, two s's)
transfering --> transferring (two r's)
independant --> independent
sand bars --> sandbars
land masses --> landmasses
chairleg --> chair leg
circular(Aikido) --- please put a space after circular
Good work!

Only one thing: can you get lessons outside the Philippines - UK? USA?
Otherwise another thing I learnt today on h2g2!

A lot of people teach it outside the Philippines, mainly because it's very enjoyable, passably easy to pick up, and extremely effective if you ever have the misfortune to end up in a situation where you need to defend yourself.
I ran a search on the interweb to find a school that would teach me after reading about it in a Sunday newspaper. I went along to see if it was any good and was amazed by the style and fluidity of motion. I've been around people with a substantial amount of Martial Arts knowledge for many years, through assorted security work, and I was seeing completely different styles of attack and defence. In any kind of arena where these things are used, you're only ever likely to win if you know what your opponent is going to do, and therefore pre-empt it by making sure your head isn't there when the foot arrives! So the benefits of learning a martial art that is little known outside of its homeland is substantial.
The best thing I can suggest is that you find somewhere near you that does lessons, and then go along and ask if you can watch. If you like what you see, join in. I'll put up some websites on here tomorrow for further reading.
