The h2g2 Poem

Hope and Despair

In anguish, you scream

Gone is another dream

The overwhelming fear

Has brought another tear

Backed against a wall

Stand tall

Do not give in

From here we begin

Best not to mope

Better to have hope

After great length

Gather your strength

Hold on tight

It will be a fight

As always, life is not fair

Even then, we die in despair
