I mean, I spend so much time fighting against idiotic stereotypes, I'd hate to spread them around.

I knew someone would say that. Maybe the best way to fight them is to expose them and explain how they started and show its not like that anymore. Birmingham UK is a good example. Its got a terrible image but its a fantastic city. Live music free in loads of venues, theatres, galleries, artists, history, museums, parks, canals all done up recently, new night life......the stereotype is history.Some of them are good humoured though, just gentle mickey taking, the jokes are what I want to understand, about places I've never been.
Is this really such a good idea?
