H2G2 Waterworks and Beach has now devolved, with each of the waterworks' features now being on a different page.
The Beach is still where it was, but now the supporting patrs of the waterworks have their own articles:

The reason? Well, I was asked to by TPTWVH. I got an e-mail from Peta, which said:

"....If you look in the standard h2g2 categorisation system and go to the bottom of Universe you will see 'World of h2g2' click on that - or there's a link to it from what used to be peta's picks on the front page - and you'll see that I'm categorising the unofficial guide into the town square, the high street and so on. I'd love to be able to put some of your pages in like the fountain, etc and all the ones on the beach, that I'd love to include in the categorisation system. But first you'd have to write a page for each of them and send me the A numbers and put a link to the threads from that page. Otherwise they won't show up correctly in the search engine. Fancy doing it? I'd love to have links to the pool and the lifeguards and everything....

If you can write a new and original page for each of your good ideas, describing it and then put a link on the page to the existing chat
thread, I can put it in the categorisation system. Call each page what it is, ie the fountain page call the fountain, the lifeguards page call the lifeguards hut or something. Then when I categorise them, that's what will come up under, say, the beach...."

So, ours not to reason why, ours but to do and die, so I did. And that's the story.

No, I hadn't heard about the sweet shop or stall, and yes, why not be next to the doughnut stall if you want to be.
It'll be nice to give us something else to eat.
You sure you wouldn't rather have it near the swimming pool or fountain at all?

Hm... Don't ask me things like this, it's always hard for me to make up my mind...

In fact, E's already agreed to my putting it next to the donut stall...

But we could make it a multi-dimensional stall, so it can be at several locations at once...

Well, you could try to run two, I guess... Anyway, the Swimming Pool seems to have acquired an ice-cream van, so perhaps you're not needed there - you don't want competition really. But you could put it either here or by the fountain? Let me know where you decide - it'll be welcome where-ever!

You know, this whole categorisation idea was thought up by me originally. If you look at Peta's page (or the Picks one I think), you'll see a forum by me about my 'station. It's there that I suggested a map for the place.
Although it's hard to make, with too many links and all, it will be possible some day.
